Meeting the Universe

Your Five-Day Journey

This itinerary takes you through five days of spiritual guidance, healing experiences, and time together in Bali.

The journey is flexible. We can shorten it to three days, extend it to six or more, and shape the experiences around your needs and interests.

Arrival Day

Welcome to Bali

  1. Afternoon / Evening

    Arrival and Settling In

Arrive in Bali, where an airport transfer can be arranged to bring you to your accommodation in Ubud.

This evening is yours to settle in, rest after your journey, and begin enjoying the atmosphere of Bali.

There are no planned activities. The journey begins the following morning.

Day 1

A Sacred Beginning

Welcoming Bali, setting intentions, and beginning the inner work.

  1. 7:30 AM

    Meeting & Morning Meditation

We begin with a short meditation and a conversation about the journey ahead.

  2. 9:00 AM

    Traditional Balinese Water Purification

Our first experience is a traditional Balinese purification ceremony, a meaningful way to welcome you to the island.

In Balinese spiritual tradition, water purification is associated with cleansing and renewal. We approach the ceremony with respect, allowing it to become a symbolic beginning: an opportunity to acknowledge what you’ve been carrying and what you’re ready to release.

  3. 11:30 AM

    Lunch Overlooking the Rice Fields

We enjoy lunch surrounded by Bali’s beautiful rice terraces.

This is where our personal work begins to deepen. We explore what brought you here, the struggles or questions you’re facing, and what you hope to understand or change.

  4. 2:00 PM

    Personal Time & Reflection

The afternoon is an opportunity to rest, reflect, or explore Ubud. Depending on what comes up during our conversation, I may recommend a particular yoga class, meditation, healing experience, or simply some time alone to allow things to settle.

  5. Evening

    Experiencing the Spirit of Ubud

Depending on what’s happening in Ubud, we may join a community bonfire gathering, kirtan, live music, ecstatic dance, or another experience that brings us into the spirit of this special place.

It’s an opportunity to meet the local community, share presence, and experience a side of Ubud that goes beyond the usual visitor experience.

Day 2

Understanding What Is Ready to Change

Exploring patterns, emotions, and the beliefs that shape our experience of life.

  1. 9:00 AM

    Sharing Presence & Personal Guidance

We begin with a walk in nature, meditation, or a conversation somewhere beautiful.

Through sharing presence, we explore the thoughts, feelings, and patterns that may be influencing your life.

Rather than only talking about the difficulties, we begin noticing how they arise within you and how your relationship with them might change.

  2. 11:30 AM

    Lunch & Reflection

Time for lunch and a break before the afternoon experience.

  3. 1:00 PM

    Personalized Healing Experience

Depending on what we’ve explored together, I may arrange or recommend a particular practitioner or healing experience.

    This could include:

    • Emotional release bodywork or somatic work
    • A traditional Balinese healer or spiritual priest
    • Breathwork or sound healing
    • A waterfall experience focused on expression and letting go
    • A heart-centered practice or meditation

The intention is to choose an experience that supports your individual process rather than follow a predetermined list of activities.

  4. 3:00 PM Onward

    Rest & Integration

After deeper emotional or body-based work, you may need time alone to rest and integrate.

Nothing else needs to be scheduled.

  5. Evening

    At Your Own Pace

You may enjoy a relaxed evening in Ubud, attend a community gathering, or simply rest.

Day 3

Learning to Live From Presence

Discovering how presence can change the way we relate to ourselves and the world.

  1. 9:00 AM

    Meditation & Nature Walk

We begin with meditation and time together in nature.

Through walking, listening, talking, and simply being, we explore what it means to experience life without constantly being absorbed in our thoughts.

  2. 11:00 AM

    Deep Conversation & Personal Guidance

We continue our work, bringing attention to what has emerged over the previous days.

How do we meet difficult emotions? How do we recognize familiar reactions before acting on them? What becomes possible when we approach everyday situations from a place of presence rather than fear or habit?

  3. 12:30 PM

    Lunch & Personal Time

Time to enjoy lunch and allow the morning’s discoveries to settle.

  4. Afternoon

A Personal Experience or Time to Yourself

Depending on what feels appropriate, I may recommend yoga, breathwork, a nature experience, sound healing journey, or another practitioner.

Sometimes the most supportive choice is simply to spend the afternoon alone, resting, reflecting, or enjoying Bali.

  5. Evening

    Experiencing the Spirit of Ubud

Depending on what’s happening in Ubud, I may recommend and arrange an evening of ecstatic dance, kirtan, sauna, music around a bonfire, or another local community gathering. Sometimes we may join together.

These experiences offer a glimpse into the spiritual and creative community that makes Ubud such a special place.

Day 4

From the Forest to the Table

Connecting with nature, nourishment, and presence through shared experience.

Today we step into Bali’s natural world for a food forest and traditional cooking experience.

Through harvesting, preparing food, and sharing a meal, we practice bringing presence into simple everyday activities.

  1. 8:30 AM

    Morning Meditation & Departure

We begin with a short meditation before traveling to the food forest.

  2. 9:30 AM

    Arrival, Tea & Snacks

A warm welcome surrounded by nature.

  3. 10:00 AM

    Welcome Circle

A traditional welcome with chanting and an introduction to the experience.

  4. 10:30 AM

    Exploring the Food Forest

Discover local plants, learn about the food forest, and harvest fresh seasonal ingredients with local guides.

  5. 11:30 AM

    Traditional Cooking Experience

Prepare a meal alongside local hosts, learning about Balinese ingredients and cooking traditions.

  6. 2:00 PM

    Lunch Feast

Enjoy the food we’ve prepared together, surrounded by the forest.

  7. 3:00 PM

    Experience Concludes

We begin our return journey to Ubud, arriving at approximately 4:00 PM, depending on travel time.

  8. Evening

    Free Time

An evening to rest, enjoy Ubud, or spend time on your own.

The food forest menu and activities may vary depending on the season, weather, and availability.

Alternatively, we may choose to replace this day with a trip to Mount Batur and its natural hot springs, depending on your interests and preferences. You’ll find the details of this alternative experience at the bottom of the page.

Day 5

Bringing It All Together

A gentle closing, sharing presence, and preparing to carry the journey home.

  1. 10:30 AM

    Morning Walk & Reflection

We meet for a relaxed walk and conversation, reflecting on the experiences and discoveries of the previous days.

What have you recognized about yourself? What feels different? What would you like to carry into your life beyond Bali?

  2. 12:00 PM

Traditional Balinese Lunch in an Organic Garden

We share a traditional Balinese meal in a beautiful garden setting, enjoying the food, surroundings, and the simple experience of being present together.

  3. 1:30 PM

    Sacred Monkey Forest

We visit Ubud’s Sacred Monkey Forest, walking among ancient trees, temples, and the natural surroundings.

Another opportunity to experience presence through ordinary moments of walking, observing, and being.

  4. 4:00 PM

    Our Closing Conversation

We bring together what we’ve explored throughout the journey.

We reflect on how to recognize familiar patterns, return to presence, and apply what you’ve discovered in your relationships and everyday life.

  5. Afternoon / Evening

    Personal Time

The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy Bali or prepare for your onward journey.

Where appropriate, an additional water purification ceremony may be arranged before departure as a symbolic closing.

The Heart of This Journey — Sharing Presence

At the heart of this journey is something simple: sharing presence.

Presence is not something we need to understand intellectually. It’s something we can experience.

As we walk, talk, meditate, share a meal, or simply sit together, I guide you toward experiencing what it means to be fully present, beyond the constant movement of thoughts and familiar reactions.

And the more we experience presence, the more naturally we begin to recognize it in our everyday lives.

This is why our time together matters. The places we visit and the experiences we choose are not the purpose of the journey. They are opportunities to become more present, see ourselves more clearly, and begin relating differently to life.

See some of my videos.

Optional Experience

This experience can be added as an extra day or enjoyed in place of one of the activities in your five-day journey.

The itinerary is designed to be flexible, allowing us to choose the experiences that feel most meaningful to you. Together, we’ll shape the days around your interests, needs, and what you’d most like to explore during your time in Bali.

  6. Approximately 5:00 PM

What You Take Home

My hope is that you leave Bali with more than beautiful memories.

That you return with a deeper understanding of yourself, greater clarity about what has been keeping you stuck, and a more familiar experience of presence that you can return to in everyday life.

Alongside the journey, you’ll receive a signed copy of The Art of Not Knowing, access to my Freedom from Suffering course, and an online follow-up conversation to explore how you’re integrating what you’ve discovered.

The journey may last five days, but what you learn about yourself can continue unfolding long after you return home.
